Llewelyn Davies was initially appointed to prepare a strategic development framework for Harefield Hospital to realise the development potential of the site for a new phased hospital programme. Subsequently, a number of studies have been commissioned in relation to the provision of a new Adult Intensive Care Unit and Radiology Department within the context of the original Llewelyn Davies master plan.
About the project
- Expertise in both master planning, residential and hospital design used to identify the development potential of this Green Belt site.
- Flexibility inherent in the Llewelyn Davies master plan has enabled alternative phasing scenarios to be adopted successfully whilst maintaining the overall strategic direction of the hospital.
