Ida is a New Zealand Registered Architect and has spent a majority of her years working in Auckland prior to moving to London in early 2022. She gained her Architecture degree in 2012 at the Victoria University of Wellington where she focused her thesis topic on the preservation of architectural heritage towards a socially responsible programme.
Ida has been involved closely with Healthcare and senior living residential design focusing on the balance of end users and client brief. She has great interest in the smart re-use of space, clinical planning and biophilic design and breaking the mould of stereotypical healthcare design for wide ranging benefits to its users. Outside of work, she enjoys a good cross stitch project, anything puzzle related, and walking in nature.
