Llewelyn Davies was invited to provide the concept design for this 250-bed hospital in the Ellinikon Health Park. The client is a leading private hospital group in Greece and was looking to expand their presence into this South Athens area.
About the project
The Ellinikon urban development, masterplanned by Foster + Partners is the biggest European, urban regeneration project at present. It is aiming to create a new residential and mixed-use development on the site of the former Athens airport. As part of the masterplan, it is envisaged to create a Health Park that can provide health and wellbeing services to the resident and wider population.
