A PFI contract; LD designed and delivered the 669-bed teaching hospital for University College London Hospital (UCLH). Phase 1 comprises a 17-storey tower and podium, inpatients, outpatients, theatres and emergency. A 2-level basement encloses radiodiagnostics, radiotherapy and related therapies.

About this project

Phase 2 provides new facilities for the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Hospital. The project employs a concrete structure, designed for maximum flexibility and adaptation in the future within a tight urban campus in central London. LD provided full planning, architectural and interior design services.
